Who We Are

Maintenance Schedule is made by Gruffydd Johnston (“we”, “us”). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@veglog.app.

What You Put Into the App

To schedule your maintenance, the app stores what you enter:

• your items: names, categories, tags, how often they repeat, due dates, notes and reminder settings;
• product details you add, such as the model, serial number, purchase date, retailer and warranty end date;
• a history of when each job was done, with any notes;
• photos and documents you attach, such as receipts, invoices, rating plates and manuals.

We can’t see any of it, and you don’t have to enter anything that identifies you.

Your Data and iCloud

Everything above is saved on your device. If you’re signed in to iCloud, it’s also synced between your iPhone, iPad and Mac using Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) in your private database. That data belongs to your Apple Account and is protected by Apple; we have no access to it. Photos and documents count towards your iCloud storage. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Widgets, Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight show your items using data on the same device. Reminders are scheduled on your device, not sent from a server.

Camera, Photos and Files

On iPhone and iPad the camera is used only when you choose Take Photo or Scan Document, and the picture is saved with the item or completion you’re adding it to. When you choose a photo or a file, the app receives only the ones you pick; it doesn’t have access to the rest of your photo library or files. Photos are resized on your device before they’re saved.

Anonymous Usage Statistics

To understand which features are used and to fix problems, the app sends anonymous signals to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany. A signal says that something happened, such as “item created”, “job marked done” or “photo added”, with a few general details: for example whether the job was on time, whether it repeats in days, weeks, months or years, or whether a photo came from the camera or a file. It also includes the app version, the system version, the type of device and your language and region settings.

Signals never include item names, notes, dates, product details, photos or documents. Each installation is identified by a random number that is hashed on your device before it’s sent, so it can’t be linked to you or used to follow you across apps.

Subscriptions and Payments

Maintenance Schedule Pro is sold and managed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple Account or payment details. To check whether you have Pro, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your App Store purchase history for this app with a random, anonymous user ID, and your country and currency. It isn’t linked to your identity or used for advertising. Apple’s handling of purchases is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Exports

CSV exports and shared photos and documents are created on your device and go only where you choose to send or save them.

What We Don’t Do

• We don’t have accounts or ask for your name or email.
• We don’t show adverts or use advertising identifiers.
• We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
• We don’t use your data to train AI models.
• We don’t sell or share personal information.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete items, completions, photos and documents in the app; deleting them on one device deletes them on your other devices too. To delete everything, delete the app from each device and remove the iCloud copy in the Settings app under your name › iCloud › Manage Storage. You can keep a copy of your items and history first with Export in Settings › Organise.

Your Rights

We don’t hold any information that identifies you, so there’s nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side: your data is on your devices and in your own iCloud, where you stay in control of it. If you have a question about your privacy, email us and we’ll help. If you’re in the UK, you can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Children

Maintenance Schedule is a general household app. It doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
